a moa was a very very big birds and the Haast’s eagle could not come back down to the land.
and when the humans arrived in aotearoa they cleared a lot of are bush and they wanted the moas but they were taking the Haast’s eagles food and from then on the moas and the Haast’s eagles are not a live to this day.

We made sheep in class for daffodil day. They are going in the window at the ASB in town. Daffodil day is for raising money for cancer. We also made some paper daffodils.
This week I read a book called JJ Rabbit and the Monster. JJ rabbit got scared because there were big footprints outside his door each morning. He thought it was a monster but it was badger who had a big sack with things in it for shifting his house. I read this story to my sister Sadie and some students in Mrs Scott’s class. They really liked the story as it was funny.
